He is the Alpha. I am the Omega. That is to say he is the leader, and I am the follower. Dale, my co-author is one of my favorite people. He is so smart, I am so dumb. He is a great mentor, I am a horrible mentee. I can only hope to be as good at our job as he is. I am blessed to sit at the feet of the master of our profession.
Dale is the wonderful father of two boys, and a spectacular husband to a female, not a male. I hope someday I'll find some sucker to walk down the aisle with me. I also hope someday that I can be half the father he is.
I really don't like his obsession with the color, orange. It's nasty. It doesn't look good on our office walls. I will say that my orange Star Wars M&M dispenser does look good. I do like how simply he lives, and I aspire to do the same. Minus the orange of course.
Needless to say I find Dale to be a scholar and a gentleman, and just a great great individual.
